What is it about?
>Run Rashomon.exe is a top-down action game based inside a half-real half virtual world. Players control the Royal Nytes of the city of New Kyoto. Take on missions to kill demons and find resources in the wildlands of Katabasis. Gather items dropped by demons to craft better gear allowing you to defeat stronger demons.
4 Playable Characters
Control 4Â fabled Neo-Nytes of Kyoto's Defence Forces. At the start of each day the player can send each Nyte out on a specific mission be that in the field, in an investigation or simple to rest in order to recuperate stamina. Each option bar resting requires a certain amount of stamina to use. Players must effectively manage the Nytes stamina so they can best navigate the various tasks within the game.
Combat & Quests
Nytes sent on Quests will enter the wildlands of Katabasis, once there they will come face to face with demons as well as the harsh environments. Players must locate and complete their objective detailed in the specific quest their Nyte has undertaken. The types of quest the Nytes can undertake include enemy elimination, NPC Escort and Item Gathering amoung more.

Fight demons with each Nyte's specialty weapon utilising both melee and ranged attacks.
Item Crafting
When fighting enemies out in the wildlands they can drop certain items which can be used in conjecture with the crafting machine found in the city of Kyoto. Combining certain items in combination with different coloured cores found within the machine will gift the player with different weapons and armour that gets increasingly stronger based on rarity and progression.
