GGJ 2019

Homepage is a narrative mystery game, taking place in the 2006 online world of Geocities. Investigate the murder of Alex by tracing back the messages and posts of Alex and their friends to learn about them and solve the decade-old cold case; get to know all about the group via the homes they made for themselves on the internet. Inspired by games like Secret Little Haven, Digital: A love story and Emily is Away Hints: You can interact with the Search Bar. At times characters might make references to URLs or give hints to the names of websites, so if you get stuck try looking through posts to see if there is anything you've missed. Don't forget to use the notepad to write things down!
